Katharina Anna Thomas

I am an interdisciplinary artist working at the cross section of arts, architecture and design. After my studies in architecture I specialised in architectural model making and moved from there into object fabrication, focusing on work with resins. Additionally, I am active in various other disciplines that spark my skills including spatial design, sculpture, and jewellery design. Besides my own work, I have realised commissioned pieces ranging from architectural models for well known architectural firms, to objects for internationally renowned designers and artists. Coming from an architectural background, I bring a strongly spatial and sensorial approach to my work, which frequently employs methodologies from art, architecture, and design.
